'Gilded Moments' explores the quiet language of memory and time through shape and symbol. Each form emerges from intuition; part mark-making, part meditation; like fragments of thought suspended in rhythm. The interplay of matte black, gloss black and luminous gold evokes the fleeting brightness that punctuates our darker, more reflective spaces. Gold becomes both light and metaphor: a reminder that beauty and meaning often glimmer briefly, then fade back into stillness.

This work continues my interest in balance and contrast, structure and spontaneity, silence and expression, the ancient and the modern. In the grid-like composition, moments appear both contained and connected, a visual diary of the unseen patterns that shape us.
