Three Bird necklace

Three Bird necklace with beach stones by Christchurch based Judy Newton from Greenheart Jewellery.
The three birds represent the grey warbler (Riroriro), Wood pigeon (Kereru) and Fantail (Piwakawaka)
The glass is coloured window sourced from leadlight supplies. The coloured glass is cut and shaped on a diamond wheel and then spends three or four days in the stone tumbler to give it a sea-softened look and feel.
The stones are from South Island beaches; Punakaiki and Birdlings Flat.
The fully adjustable necklace can be worn high or low by sliding the top toggles up or down. By moving the stones sitting above the birds, you can create a drop pendant. The pendant is designed to be played with, the birds moving around…
