They arrived with very little, and not much of an idea of what to expect beyond a few grainy black and white promotional videos. My parents made that move, and this painting references the building of homes around Sunnynook Road, Auckland circa 1970 - showing an image of a man reading his Neil’s Group kit home plan on the ground his home would be built on.
